Discovery Zone – 9th and 10th September

No visit to the Science Festival is complete without an exploration of our activity packed Discovery Zone on the University of Hull Campus.

Tickets are available throughout Saturday 9th September and Sunday 10th September.

The Rude Science Show – Stefan Gates’ explosive new show explores the revolting science of vomit, urine, earwax, scabs, poo and much, much worse.

Ginny Smith explores the wonderful world of our senses, and the tricks they play on us

For older audiences…

Join Rob Eastaway for an entertaining talk in which he reveals surprising connections between maths, cricket and the wider world of sport!

Black holes are misunderstood, Professor Brad Gibson lays out the truth about these amazing entities, and will do so in this engaging talk.

Tours

Join a scientist for a guided tour around some of the regions fascinating environments

Dr Africa Gomez will take you on a walk & talk by the Humber foreshore from The Deep to the Half-tide basin.

Take an augmented reality assisted tour of the outdoor environmental labs at the University of Hull.

To get your tickets either find your email order confirmation; tickets are attached as a PDF file you can print or show on your phone on your arrival.

Cancelling tickets

If you can no longer attend, it’s easy to cancel your registration from your Eventbrite account.

  1. Log in to Eventbrite, go to the Tickets page, and locate your order.Click your order to view order details, and then select “Cancel Order” to cancel your registration. We’ll send you and the event organiser an email confirming the cancellation.
